Secret Santa Gifts for Snack Lovers (Australia 2026)
You've drawn a name out of the hat. Maybe it's the colleague you've spoken to twice, maybe it's your cousin's new partner. Either way, you need something fun, under budget and not another candle. Good news: everyone likes snacks, even ones you can't eat.
Here are eleven food-themed Secret Santa and Kris Kringle gifts, sorted by the usual swap budgets, with prices in AUD and free standard shipping. None of them are bulky items, so they all fit the normal Christmas order-by date below.
Under A$25: the classic Kris Kringle budget
Small, silly and very likely to end up on someone's keys or desk for years.
1. Banana Cat Meme Keychain (A$19.95)
The internet's favourite crying banana cat, now on a keyring. There are 14 expressions to pick from, each a detailed acrylic charm about 3.5 to 4 cm tall. Perfect for the colleague who sends memes all day.
2. Miniature Food Fridge Magnet (A$19.95)
A tiny resin snack for the office fridge: salmon nigiri, a fries basket, a strawberry tart and more, or pick Surprise Design and let fate decide. Each magnet is sold individually, so you can grab a couple for a bigger budget.
3. Chocolate Bar Ballpoint Pen (A$20.95)
It looks like a chocolate bar and writes with a smooth 0.5 mm tip. Pink, beige or brown. Expect it to be borrowed and never returned.
4. Pretzel or Croissant Plush Keyring (from A$24.95)
A 10 cm plush pretzel or croissant with a smiley face, ready to clip on a bag. (The same listing also has bigger 16 to 32 cm bakery plushies at A$34.95 if your budget stretches.) The keyrings have small metal parts, so they're for grown-ups and big kids.
A$25 to A$35: the sweet spot
5. Japanese Food Print Cotton Socks (A$29.95)
Sushi, ramen and dumpling prints on soft, breathable cotton-blend socks. One size fits most, which makes them a safe bet when you've drawn someone you barely know. Choose orange red, white, red or khaki.
6. Fruit and Veg Buddies Plush (from A$30.00)
A 20 to 23 cm plush with a slightly startled face. There are 18 to choose from, including banana, broccoli, mushroom, pineapple and a very confused watermelon. A desk mascot for anyone who needs one.
7. Plush Ice Cream Cone Keychain (A$34.95)
A fluffy scoop on a knitted-look cone, in strawberry, blueberry, mango, matcha, cream, grape or chocolate. Summer Christmas, sorted.
A$35 to A$50: for the bigger swaps
Some offices go big. These are the crowd-pleasers.
8. Crusty Toast Boy Bread Case (A$40.95)
Coin purse, key case, pencil case or tiny crossbody bag: he does the lot. Pick Happy Toast, Sad Toast or Toast Loaf, with a clip or a shoulder strap. The round toast is about 14 x 14 cm, not counting arms and legs.
9. Boba Milk Tea Stand-Up Pen Bag (A$44.95)
A bubble tea cup that stands on the desk as a pen pot, then slides down to zip into a bag as a pencil case. Five colours: pink, brown, blue, yellow and purple. (Pens not included, sadly.)
10. Choc Chip Cookie AirPods Case (A$44.95)
A chunky 3D choc chip cookie in soft silicone, with a hook to clip it to a bag. Choose Chocolate or Golden, and the model: AirPods 1 & 2, AirPods 3 or the original AirPods Pro. Worth a sneaky check of which AirPods they have.
11. Toaster Night Light (A$49.95)
A little toaster with two glowing slices popping out of the top. It's USB rechargeable, has three brightness levels and lasts about 6 to 9 hours per charge. About 10 x 6 x 10.5 cm, in green, cream or pink.
Wrap it like a biscuit
Secret Santa is half about the reveal. Our Christmas Biscuit Gift Bags (A$32.95 a pack) are clear bags with festive biscuit motifs, in packs of 40 to 100 depending on the style. Plenty for the whole office, with leftovers for homemade cookies.

When to order (the honest version)
- Shipping: standard shipping is free on every order, with tracking.
- Processing: 1-3 business days, then most items take 10-18 business days to arrive.
- Christmas in Australia: order by Friday 20 November. Every gift in this guide fits that date.
- Swap before Christmas? Count back about five weeks from the day of your party. For a swap on Friday 11 December, order by Friday 6 November.
- Bulky items (giant plushies and cushions, not in this guide) take 25-40 business days, so order those by Wednesday 21 October.
In a hurry? Where it's offered, Snack Dash Express at checkout uses a faster tracked line (about 5-15 business days after processing) for a small extra charge, but we'd still order by the dates above. Full details on our shipping page and in our FAQs.
FAQ
What is a good Secret Santa gift under A$25?
Something small and funny that gets used: a banana cat keychain, a chocolate bar pen or a tiny food fridge magnet for the office kitchen.
Can I send the gift straight to the person?
Yes. Pop their name and address in as the delivery address at checkout. If it is for an office swap, sending it to yourself first gives you time to wrap it.
What if it arrives damaged?
Our 60-Day Snack Promise covers anything that arrives faulty, damaged or wrong: email contact@scribblesnacks.com within 60 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll replace it or refund you.
Happy swapping!
